  DESCRIPTIVE TEXT - HISTORICAL BUILDING   
To describe in general about a famous historical buildings.

Generic Structure of Descriptive Text
When writing descriptive text, there are some generic structures for our writing to be true. The arrangement is:
1. Identification: (contains about the introduction of a person, place, animal or object will be described.)
2.  Description: contains a description of something as animal, things, place or person by describing its features, forms, colors, or anything related to what the writer describe.

Purpose of Descriptive text
1. To describe person, thing or place in specific
2. To describe a particular person, thing or place

  EXAMPLE  OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT - HISTORICAL BUIILDING  
Here is an example of a descriptive text, historical building.

Chichen Itza



Chichen Itza was a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya people of the Terminal Classic period.
Chichen Itza was one of the largest Maya cities and it was likely to have been one of the mythical great cities, or Tollans, referred to in later. The city may have had the most diverse population in the Maya world, a factor that could have contributed to the variety of architectural styles at the site.
Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeologi sites in Mexico with over million tourists in 2017.


Conclusion

Descriptive text is text that describes objects, people, and historical buildings. but this time about descriptive historical building texts that explain the background of being built, and others. Descriptive text also makes it easier for people to find out some information.
